To err is human, the old saying goes. Do you what else is human? To forget is human as well. Even if you like to brag that you are like an elephant (you never forget stuff, not the other thing), chances are that something may slip your mind. This is where software applications come to your aid.

Like for example Your Voice Reminder, a time management, reminder and calendar program. Developed by Vadim Motorine, this application weighs in at close to 3.5MB, so downloading it should take but a moment, especially if you’re on a high-speed internet connection. Installing the application will go just as fast – simply follow the instructions in the setup wizard and a few clicks later you’ll have the app up and running.

Speaking of running, there are two things that you should be made aware of. First of all, you should know that Vadim Motorine should work without a snag on all versions of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system – which is good. Secondly, you should know that you can use Your Voice Reminder free of charge only during the 30-day trial period. The application is not freeware – which is not so good.

What are you paying for should you decide to spend your hard earned money on Your Voice Reminder? You get an application that bundles together a talking clock, calendar, reminder and to-do list tracker.

As the name so adequately points out, this application puts an emphasis on your voice. The application speaks out the date and time at regular intervals of time – you can record your voice and use it for this task. You can record your voice for pretty much all aspects of this application. Want to create a quick note, you can record your message. Want to set up an alarm, you can record a message that will be played when the alarm goes of. Want to setup a startup reminder or a to-do item, you can record a message.

Once installed on your system, Your Voice Reminder replaces your default Windows clock (with one that is customizable). Place your mouse over the clock and a window will appear – it displays the current time, a calendar, today’s events. To play with Your Voice Reminder’s settings simply right click the clock icon.

Your Voice Reminder is an easy to use application that brings together a speaking clock, a calendar, reminder and to-do list. It puts the emphasis on you recording messages to help you manage your time.

Pros
  • Works with all Windows versions
  • Customization options
  • Speaking clock, calendar, to-do list, reminder
  • Record your own voice

Cons
  • Free to use only during the 30-day trial period
